the objects of the cio are: (1) to educate the public and members of the armed forces in the history and military accomplishments of the rifles regiment and its antecedent regiments by public exhibition of the cio's collection in a museum or such other public places as the charity trustees may from time to time decide, and to add to, restore, preserve, document and interpret material in the collection to hold in perpetuity for future generations; and(2) all other purposes that are for the public and are exclusively charitable under the law of england and wales.
