Objects:
1) to promote for the benefit of the public, and in particular but not exclusively, people of the muslim faith, the provision of services directed towards mediation and conciliation between persons and groups who are involved or likely to be involved in disputes or interpersonal conflict where that dispute or conflict results from or may lead to acts of nuisance, racial abuse, family and relationship breakdown or social disagreement, and to work with persons, organisations and authorities towards beneficial change by providing fair, voluntary, impartial, confidential, free and accessible mediation. 2) to advance education for the public benefit in the purpose and methods of mediation, conciliation and reconciliation of disputes, and the understanding of the nature and causes of disputes or conflicts and of all the means of managing them for the purposes of peaceful resolution in the interests of good citizenship and community relations, in particular by the provision of training.
