Objects:

the objects of the charity are to:a) promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of st wenn without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, nationality, age, disability, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;in furtherance of these objects, the trustees shall have power to purchase the village field (also known as school field) and community hall including to accept the transfer of the ownership of st wenn hall from the st wenn women’s institute (hereinafter known as the wi) for the benefit of the community and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or other person or body) for the public benefit; andb) promote such other charitable purposes (charitable under english law) as may from time to time be determined including but not limited to supporting the charitable purposes of the wi federation: a) educating people in the preservation, conservation and protection of the environment and prudent use of natural resources whilst promoting sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration and b) to advance citizenship for the public benefit by promotion of civic responsibility and volunteers.the charity shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
