(1) the promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit in dorset and surrounding areas by the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of gender identity by;(a) advancing education and raising awareness in the issues faced by transgender and non-binary people;(b) promoting activities to foster understanding between transgender and non-binary and those from other backgrounds;(c) cultivating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity.(2) the promotion of social inclusion among transgender and non-binary people who are socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of being transgender and non-binary by:(a) raising public awareness of the issues affecting transgender and non-binary people, both generally and in relation to their social exclusion;(b) increasing, or co-ordinating, opportunities for transgender and non-binary people to engage with service providers, to enable those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of that community.(c) providing workshops, forums, advocacy and general support;(d) providing recreational facilities and opportunities for transgender and non-binary people.
