the objects of the charity are, for the public benefit:-1) to promote the whole mission of the church of england, pastoral, evangelistic, charitable, social and ecumenical for the benefit of the ecclesiastical parish of thurmaston, st michael and all angels; and2) to further or benefit the residents in the ecclesiastical parish of thurmaston, st michael and all angels and the neighbourhood including visitors, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents and visitors.
