for charitable purpose relating to general or any specific purposes of the oxford university hospitals nhs trust or to purposes relating to the health service. to provide extra comforts for the patients of the churchill hospital oxford including gifts, clothing or additional medical appliances on leaving the said hospital and for the provision of extra comforts for or the genral welfare of the staff of the said hospital. for any charitable purposes or purpose relating to the services provided by the social workers wholly or mainly for the following nhs trusts : oxford university hospitals nhs trust (1) for the provision of facilities services or equipment or otherwise for the improvement of the general welfare of the staff of the said john radcliffe hospital. (2) for the assistance of the patients or former patients of the said john radcliffe hospital in whatever manner including gifts of clothing or additional medical or surgical appliances to them on leaving the said john radcliffe hospital. (3) for the provision of accommodation for the use of relatives of critically ill patients. (4) for the purposes of any research carried on at the said john radcliffe hospital in particular relating to leukaemia. to support patients at the oxford university hospitals nhs trust suffering from leukaemia and their carers. to cover all areas of support, comfort and additional items relating to their illness both whilst in hospital and at home. also to give financial support for travel costs both to patients and carers. for any charitable purpose in connection with the critical care centre of oxford radcliffe hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes in connection with the horton hospital. the relief of sickness at the oxford university hospitals nhs trust by promoting the efficient performance of their duties of:(1) staff working within the ophthalmology department(2) subject to (1) above, nursing staff of the trust, and in particular, by the provision of facilities for rest, recreation, education and training of such staff 1) general charitable purposes relating to the services provided by the rivermead and ritchie russell house rehabilitation centre (or such other centre or centres as may take on as successor the provision of such services in whole or in part or such more closely restricted charitable purposes falling therein as expressed by the donors of the funds at the times of the respective donations2) the trustee shall hold the funds with and subject to their general powers and conditions on trust to pay or apply or cause to be paid or applied at such time or times and in such manner as the trustees shall in their discretion think fit the income and if and in so far as is possible and the trustees shall think fit the capital of the funds in promoting the objects for use by the john radcliffe hospital for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to improve children's healthcare services provided by the oxford university hospitals nhs trust and in particular for the building, equipping and development of a new children's hospital on the john radcliffe hospital site for any charitable purpose or purposes, for research conducted for the benefit of the national health service in oxfordshire for any charitable purpose or purposes for the relief of sickness at all or any of the nhs trusts within oxfordshire by promoting the efficient performance of their duties by the staff to relieve sickness by supporting the provision of facilities, associated with (but not limited to) teaching and research, for clinical care for the benefit of the public, provided by the oxford university hospitals nhs trust or any successor body or bodies for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the paediatric rheumatology service at the oxford university hospitals nhs trust and elsewhere as the trustee shall determine for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the service provided by the oxford university hospitals nhs trust. 2.1 the objects of the charity are, for the public benefit:(a) to further any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the general or any specific purposes of the foundation trust or the purposes of the health service;(b) to promote, protect, preserve and advance all or any aspects of the health of the public; and/or(c) to advance and promote knowledge and education in medicine including by engaging in and supporting medical research (and the dissemination of the useful results).
