the objects of the cio are to relieve the needs of people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties in the city of plymouth by: operating, maintaining and developing a centre with facilities tailored to the requirements of such people enabling them to relax, learn social skills and develop self-confidence in a positive and uplifting environment that accepts and welcomes them all as individuals in line with our ethos statement. providing such people with a range of therapeutic and skills-based activities focused on mental health recovery. fostering links with other organisations, including local authorities, other charities and commercial entities, in order to raise awareness and/or funds.
