to advance education in schools in africa, in particular (without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) by forming links between primary schools in the uk and rural schools in africa where teaching is in english so that books, equipment and educational material no longer needed in schools in the uk can be sent to schools in africa where such items are in desperately short supply
