the objects of the cio are for the public benefit to relieve the needs of people who are in need as a result of being refugees and seeking asylum and their dependants primarily (but not limited to) those living (temporarily or permanently) in lewes and the surrounding area and to advance education and/or training for such people in particular by (but not limited to) the following means: 3.1 raising public awareness about issues concerning refugees and those seeking asylum;3.2 providing support;3.3 providing practical assistance, and3.4 liaising with other organisations that can help fulfil such purposes
