the object of the cio is to relieve the needs of visually impaired people over the age of 18 who live, work or study in hertfordshire and the surrounding area particularly but not exclusively by:a) providing equipment, services and advice which will enable them to live more independently;b) providing social and recreational activities designed to improve their quality of life.
