the object of the cio is to enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups by:(1) promoting their care and safety;(2) promoting their education and promoting parental involvement;(3) promoting their health and wellbeing;(4) providing services to support them and their families and carers;(5) providing services to individuals holding membership of the cio; (6) supporting local schools with fluid communication re the progress of the children they will receive.(7) supporting the local authorities where required re the safety of the children in our care.
