Objects:

1.1 the trustees shall hold the capital and income of the 'trust fund' upon trust to apply the income, and all or such part or parts of the capital, at such time or times and in such manner to, or for the benefit of, such exclusively 'charitable' objects and purposes in any part of the world as the trustees may in their discretion think fit.1.2 notwithstanding the provisions of sub-clause 1.1, the trustees may in their discretion, for the period of 21 years from the date of this deed, instead of applying the income of the trust fund in any year, accumulate all or any part of such income by investing the same, and the resulting income, in any investments authorised by this deed or by law as an accretion to and as part of the capital of the trust fund, without prejudice to their right to apply the whole or any part of such accumulated income in any subsequent year as if the same were income of the trust fund arising in the then current year.1.3 without prejudice to the generality of sub-clause 1.1 the trustees may apply the income and all or such part or parts of the capital of the trust at such time or times and in such manner as the trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit for or towards:1.3.1 the education of the general public and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the education of children and young adults;1.3.2 the education of the general public in a wider knowledge and appreciation of art, culture, heritage, science and business;1.3.3 the promotion of human health and the relief of sickness by such charitable means as the trustees shall from time to time think fit;1.3.4 the promotion or advancement of sustainable development for the benefit of the general public by:(a) the preservation, conservation and protection of the environment and the prudent use of resources;(b) the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities; or(c) the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration; and1.3.5 the relief of unemployment for the benefit of the public in such ways as may be thought fit.
