‘the objects of the cio are, for the public benefit, to advance the christian religion, by:a. supporting the mission and ministry of the church of england in the parishes of long and little wittenham, oxfordshire ('the parish') and the dorchester team ministry;b. in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, helping preserve, maintaining and, where appropriate, developing the fabric of the parish church of st mary long wittenham, oxfordshire; andc. supporting any purpose intended to further the work of the church of england and the spiritual, moral and physical education and training of the inhabitants of the parish in such ways as the charity trustees may from time to time think.’
