the charities objects are specifically restricted to the following: a. to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded and/or relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. this will be achieved primarily, but not exclusively, by:i) delivering activities and events that enable socially excluded individuals, or those at risk of social exclusion, to come together and foster a sense of communityii) creating opportunities for socially excluded individuals, or those at risk of social exclusion, to develop new skills and competencies iii) offering advice or advocacy on behalf of excluded individuals [for the purpose of this clause socially means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one of more of the following factors: unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental); substance abuse or dependency including alcohol and drugs; discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender re-assignment; poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and family breakdown; poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards; crime (either as a victim of crime or as an offender rehabilitating into society).]b. the relieve unemployment for the benefit of the public in such ways as may be thought fit, including:i) the provision of trainingii) offering information, advice and guidanceiii) developing ventures that provide opportunities for unemployed individuals to gain skills and experience through volunteering and/or short term employment placements
