1. the advancement of education for the public benefit in both the uk and azad jammu and kashmir by making grants, in particular but not exclusively, to assist in the provision of:a) equipment, including books, computers and electronic teaching aids and by contributing to the financial support of teaching staff. b) help to people with learning difficulties to reach their educational potential c)provision of financial support to students at tertiary level for scholarships and interest free loans to enable them to pursue higher education.d) assistance in building linguistic and communication skills in english, in particular for women, to enable them to integrate into english society and encourage their financial independence. 2. the relief of sickness and the protection and preservation of good health for the public benefit in both the uk and azad jammu and kashmir by making grants, in particular but not exclusively, to assist in the provision of:a) mobility and other aids e.g. by the purchase of wheelchairs, crutches.b) support groups and special education services for people with learning difficulties.c) raising awareness in communities about mental health issues in terms of prevention, support, care and treatment.d) funding towards the prevention and control of communicable diseases e.g. tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections/hiv and non-communicable diseases e.g. diabetes, hypertension.e) funding to improve the sexual and reproductive health of women.
