"the objects for the charity are for the public benefit1)to promote sustainable development by:• the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic development and regeneration;• the prevention of poverty and social exclusion; and• the protection of the environment and the prudent use of natural resources.2) the advancement of education and promotion of research in subjects related to sustainable development, the prevention of poverty and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment, provided that the useful results of such research are disseminated to the public at large.for the purpose of this clause “social exclusion” means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one of more of the following factors: unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental) race; gender; poor educational or skills attainment or disability.3) the advancement of any other charitable purpose the trustees from time to time think fit.""sustainable development"" is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
