the objects of the cio areto manage and maintain the village community centre and to promote for thebenefit of the residents of bishopsteignton and the neighbourhood (“area ofbenefit”) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability,nationality, race or political, religious or other opinions, by associatingtogether the said residence and the local authorities, voluntary, charities, andother organisations in a common effort to advance education and to providefacilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure-timeoccupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the saidresidents.nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of thecio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with [section 7 ofthe charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005] and [section 2 ofthe charities act (northern ireland) 2008]
