the objects of the cio are: to relieve the charitable needs of elderly people who, as a result of their age, mental health or circumstances, are lonely or socially isolated, through the provision of a befriending service designed to enable such people to enjoy the company of volunteers and their dogs or a service designed to enable such people to adopt a companion dog, in particular by providing: a) a volunteer service providing befriending and opportunities to go on dog walks; orb) where appropriate, a matching service to identify a suitable dog.
