"3.1 the objects of the charity are, for the public benefit:-3.1.1 to promote the physical and mental health of people and communities in any part of the world who are affected by neglected tropical diseases as defined by the world health organization including, but not limited to, parasitic worm infections, schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminthiasis (collectively ""neglected tropical diseases"");3.1.2 to relieve the needs of people and communities in any part of the world who are suffering as a consequence of neglected tropical diseases; and 3.1.3 to advance education of people and communities in any part of the world who are affected by neglected tropical diseases and the general public with a view to reducing transmission and infection; by:(a) supporting the development of effective and sustainable systems that seek to eliminate neglected tropical diseases; (b) supporting and evaluating treatment programmes for neglected tropical diseases and generating evidence for optimising programme impact; and (c) providing and promoting access to services that can reduce the risk of and alleviate the problems associated with neglected tropical diseases."
