the objects of the cio are:1. the advancement of the islamic religion in accordance with the doctrines of the shia ithna-asheri jaferi faith as narrated and interpreted by the holy prophet mohammed (pbuh & hp) and the imams of ahlul bayt (pbut) for the public benefit, in particular but not inclusively by:1.1 providing religious education in the principles of the islamic faith;1.2 promoting religious harmony through interfaith dialogue and encouraging mutual understanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of different religious faiths and communities;1.3. providing for islamic daily prayers, marriage and funeral services, and other services required by the community;2. the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of the general public;3. the advancement of education;4. the advancement of health; and/or5. the relief of those in charitable need because of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
