the objects of the cio are to:to promote health and to relieve those suffering from or affected by skin cancer, in particular malignant melanoma, in the north east of england in particular by:(a) providing advice and guidance to those affected by malignant melanoma and unbiased and accurate information about the disease to the wider public;(b) raising awareness of malignant melanoma and its causes and symptoms(c) providing counselling, support and therapies such as podiatry and beauty treatments for people affected by melanoma and skin cancer
