the objects of the cio are:(1) the advancement of education; understanding and awareness of visible differences for the public benefit within educational settings by providing information sessions and workshops on visible differences in particular but not exclusively to facial disfigurement.(2) the promotion of equality and diversity of individuals with visible differences and facial disfigurement by providing information sessions and workshops on visible differences in particular but not exclusively to facial disfigurement as a way of reducing stigma and discrimination and promoting activities to foster understanding of issues faced by such people.for the purpose of these objects 'visible differences' refer to any unusual feature of a person's appearance which is visible and obvious to others e.g. disfigurements, birthmarks, skin disorders or physical disabilities.
