the objects of the cio are:1. to advance in life and help young people, in particular but not exclusively those who are vulnerable, in need or experiencing social disadvantage, through:(a) the provision of arts-based activities, performance opportunities and psychoeducational experiences (mentoring and group work) designed to improve their conditions of life;(b) providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.(c) facilitating connection and collaboration between young people, developing self-confidence, self-acceptance and tolerance for people of other backgrounds2. to advance the education of the public, in particular but not exclusively amongst young people and those who work professionally with young people, on the psychological impact of adverse life experiences and the therapeutic benefits of the arts through awareness raising, project work, live and online artistic performances, mentoring and training.
