- to advance the promotion of the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in the crucorney area* for the benefit of the public by providing grants as the trustees see fit from time to time.- to advance the education of people for the public benefit who live in the crucorney area* by making grants and awards as the trustees see fit from time to time. these grants and awards are limited to advancing education and knowledge for the public benefit in the following areas: - the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment;- the conservation of flora, fauna or the environment generally- the conservation of a particular geographical area- the conservation of a particular species- the promotion of sustainable development and biodiversity- the promotion of recycling and sustainable waste management- research projects into the use of renewable energy sources* the crucorney area is defined as the community wards under the administration of the crucorney community council. these are: bwlch trewyn & oldcastle; forest & ffwddog; llanvihangel crucorney; lower cwmyoy and upper cwmyoy.
