the object of the cio is to advance the education of the public in the art of music, in particular by: a) supporting and promoting the learning of music in schools and to enable schools to provide opportunities for pupils, in particular but not exclusively those of primary school age, to develop a love of and a passion for music; b) supporting and enabling musical projects to take place that involve whole communities, in particular but not exclusively in the yorkshire and lincolnshire area.
