the objects of the cio are as follows: -to preserve and protect health and relieve sickness for the public benefit in nigeria in particular but not exclusively by:i. providing medical and healthcare provision to poor adults in the rural parts of nigeria where access to public medical facilities and healthcare centres are limited.ii. supporting healthcare and healthcare education to prevent specific life-threatening illnesses amongst the poor through awareness, knowledge and simple self-examination techniques to enable early detection for referral treatment.iii. the provision of medical missions in hard to reach and rural communities.iv. to promote general health awareness by developing and supporting local chapters that will continue the work established by the medical missions.
