"to promote social inclusion of people affected by tourettes syndrome and tic disorders in hull and yorkshire who are socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of their medical condition by; - providing a safe and comfortable environment to meet other people affected by tourettes syndrome; - raising funds to support people affected by tourettes syndrome; and - providing awareness talks in schools, colleges and work places. ""tourettes syndrome"" is defined as “an inherited disorder of the nervous system, characterized by a variable expression of unwanted movements and noises (tics)."
