1) the relief of persons aged 16 or over with learning disabilities and/or autism, in particular through providing or assisting in the provision of support, advice, education, training, skills development, advocacy and assistance, including financial assistance to meet a need. 2) the promotion of social inclusion for persons aged 16 or over with learning disabilities and/or autism who are socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of their disability or autism by: a) providing and supporting opportunities for beneficiaries to develop their capacities, skills, independence and participation in society; b) providing training, advocacy, assistance and general support; c) providing recreational and sporting facilities or opportunities; d) raising public awareness of the problems persons with learning disabilities and or autism can face in relation to social exclusion such as discrimination, abuse, economic, psychological and social exclusion. 3) the advancement of amateur sport for persons aged 16 or over with learning disabilities and/or autism by: a) providing sporting opportunities; b) supporting them in competition or assisting in participation in competitions such as by providing a range of support, assistance and facilities; c) providing opportunities for beneficiaries to enhance their sporting skills to provide support in training and competing to fulfil their sporting potential such as special olympics events regionally, nationally and internationally; d) providing financial assistance, transport and coaching.
