"(1) to advance the education and training of young people under the age of 25 in east suffolk (the ""beneficiaries"") in seamanship, sailing and other water-based activities(2) to advance in life the beneficiaries through:(a) providing a schools and youth-club focussed series of programmes designed to give the beneficiaries an introduction to sailing and other water-based activities and the life skills which can be learned through them;(b) providing sailing and other water-based equipment, training and activities which develop the beneficiariesæ skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals."
