the objects of the cio are:1. for the public benefit to relieve the needs of refugees, asylum seekers and internally displacedpersons wherever they are in the world, particularly, but not exclusively, by providing money,items or other assistance for such persons or organisations established to assist them as thetrustees shall think fit.2. to advance the education of the public in general about the issues relating to refugees andthose seeking asylum;nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for thepurposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trusteeinvestment (scotland) act 2005 and section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
