the objects of the cio are: a) to advance the islamic faith in birmingham and the uk in accordance with al-quran and the sunnah of the prophet muhammed (pbuh) and following the ahli sunnah wal jamaah for the public benefit, mainly but not exclusively by• providing a place of worship• religious education• the promotion of multicultural and religious harmony between muslims and non-muslims in order to foster mutual understanding and toleration • producing and/or distributing material and holding events about islam to enlighten others about the islamic religion b) such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of england and wales as the trustees may determine from time to time.
