the objects of the cio are:(1) to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment, in particular but not exclusively by monitoring and protecting natural habitats and biodiversity, in the land and in the sea and establishing marine protected areas;(2) to advance the education of the public in conserving, protecting and improving the physical natural environment through the dissemination of information about conservation, protection and improvement activities including waste, water and energy usage.
