objectsthe objects of the cio are:1 to promote the benefit and protect the interests of the inhabitants of old hunstanton and the neighbourhood together defined as in clause 5 below (ôthe area of benefitö) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to promote facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;2 to establish, or secure the establishment of, a community centre (ôthe village hallö) and to maintain or manage the village hall (whether alone or in co-operation with any local or statutory authority or other person or body) in furtherance of these objects;3 to promote such charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.4 the cio shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.5 old hunstanton shall be defined as the civil parish of old hunstanton with borders as shown on the map annexed hereto.
