Objects:

(a) the promotion of religious harmony principally by: (i) educating the public in the religious beliefs of the islamic faith including an awareness of the distinctive features of islam and its common ground with other religions in order to promote good relations between persons of the same faith, different faiths and no faith; (ii) promoting knowledge and mutual understanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of the islamic faith; (iii) working with people of any faith and no faith towards the elimination of extremist tendencies; (iv) promoting the freedom of religion in particular through educating the public and raising of awareness of the need for religious freedom as called for in the three abrahamic faiths (christianity, judaism and islam), and the development of theological bases. (b) to advance the education of the public on the subject of the islamic faith, including promoting research in all aspects of the islamic faith, both on its own and in relation to other faiths and belief systems and to publish the useful results.
