to promote the arts for the public benefit by:-a) fostering & promoting the education and enjoyment of the life & works of sir edward elgar;b) engaging in fundraising throughout the year to support a calendar of events as well as those good causes which fall within the remit of the organisation;c) networking with existing similar events and to foster goodwill towards the festival and to cross promote such events;d) engaging in programmes which fall within the remit of the organisation which are both fun and developmental; ande) engaging the public, in particular with young people in areas of social deprivation where enjoyment of such material is uncommon or difficult to come by.
