Objects:
5.1 the objects of the charity are the advancement of education for the public benefit in any or all of the following ways:5.1.1 the provision of financial support for scholarships, bursaries, grants, loans, prizes, maintenance allowances or other financial assistance to pupils and prospective pupils of stonyhurst; and5.1.2 the provision of any other financial support for stonyhurst, or the current or prospective pupils of stonyhurst, as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit. 5.2 nothing in these articles shall authorise an application of the charity's property for purposes that are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005 and/or section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
