1) the object of the charity shall be to provide or assist in the provision of facilities including a village hall and playing fields for the inhabitants of the parish of thatcham and the neighbourhood thereof (hereinafter call the “area of benefit”) for recreation and other leisure-time occupations in the interests of social welfare, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.2) the said land and buildings shall be held upon trust for use of the object of the charity.
