the object of the cio is:for the public benefit to preserve and protect good health among, and relieve the needs of, children with brain tumours and cancer, their families and carers, in particular by:a) providing grants of financial assistance.b) providing information, advocacy and local support groups which offer emotional and practical support. c) funding research to improve understanding, diagnosis and treatment of brain tumours and childhood cancers, the useful results of which will be published. d) raising awareness of childhood cancers with a primary focus on brain tumours and their debilitating effects.
