the objects of the cio are:for the public benefit in north lancashire (the “area of benefitâ€) to preserve and protect good health among, and relieve the needs of, people living with down's syndrome, in particular by:(i) creating and developing conditions which will enable children and adults with down's syndrome to attain their full potential; (ii) offering support, information, advice and guidance to people with down's syndrome, their families, helpers and carers within the area of benefit;(iii) undertaking such other activities as are exclusively charitable in law in connection with the relief of need of people with down's syndrome within the area of benefit.
