the object of the cio is: for the public benefit to relieve the needs of bereaved parents and families who have suffered the loss of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth in such ways and by such means as are charitable within the laws of england and wales, and in particular but not exclusively by: a) providing ‘wynter’s wish’ literature and toys for bereaved families and/or healthcare professionals supporting those families affected by baby loss in order to promote the emotional, psychological and physical health and wellbeing of parents and provide them with comfort and support.b) the relief of financial hardship among bereaved families living in england and wales by making grants of financial assistance or paying for items services or facilities.c) providing grants of financial assistance to charities and voluntary organisations who raise awareness of baby loss and support families affected by baby loss.d) providing events and information which raise public awareness of baby loss.
