1. to relieve poverty and prevent financial hardship of key workers during the covid-19 outbreak by the provision of grants for emergency or essential items as the trustees shall think fit; and2. the relief of sickness and suffering by making grants to hospices [and other medical charities] particularly those affected by loss of funding due to the covid 19 outbreak.for the purposes of these objects, key workers are defined as a person whose work is critical to the covid 19 response as defined by government and includes but is not limited to those working in: health and social care, food and transport and education and childcare.
