the objects of the cio are, for the public benefit: (1) the prevention of poverty and relief of financial hardship of those dependent on smes for their livelihood or income through the provision of emergency financial and other assistance to small and medium size businesses in financial difficulties as a result of the temporary curtailment of ordinary business activities arising from the coronavirus (covid-19) outbreak and public health responses to it; and (2) the advancement of knowledge, education and training in all aspects of effective small business management and small business support and its public dissemination, in particular but not limited to research and training in its theory and practical applications.
