for the public benefit, to relieve by charitable means, the needs of veterans of hm armed forces and their families in the liverpool, chester and surrounding area who are suffering mental ill-health, with the ultimate aim of enabling their independence. in tandem, to train and raise awareness within business and communities in the same area to help them understand the effects mental ill-health has on veterans and their families and better educate them to help, signpost and understand the needs of veterans and their families in such circumstances.the object will be fulfilled (not exclusively) by:a) providing 1-1 counselling and/or psychotherapy, free at the point of delivery to any veteran or family member who requests it and been assessed as being able to benefit from it.b) providing training to local businesses who employ veterans and/or have signed up to the armed forces covenant to enable them to understand the particular needs of veterans in regard to trauma, ptsd, complex ptsd and general mental well-being.c) providing signposting for veterans and local businesses to streamline the ability for veterans to access support for other services conducive to good mental health. (education, vocational skills training, recreation)d) do all such lawful things that may further the charity's objects
