the maintenance, repair, unkeep and improvement of the joseph hopper memorial homes, or otherwise for the benefit of the district of the charity in which the homes are situated. the appropriation, use, maintenance and repair of cottages as residences for aged mineworkers with a preference for aged mineworkers who are disabled ex-servicemen. income to be applied by the durham aged mineworkers home association for the benefit of its wheatley hill lodge. income to be used for the upkeep, maintenance and repair of the property held in trust for the durham aged mineworkers' homes association to be used as residences for aged mineworkers and also to provide coals and water for the above residents. income to be applied in or towards the maintenance and repair of the homes or groups of homes specified in the first column of the second schedule of the scheme of 14 august 1962 a reading room for the occupants of the joseph hopper homes. income to be applied in or towards the upkeep, maintenance, repair and insurance and all other charges and outgoings payable in respect of the homes for aged mineworkers situate at birtley and washington. for the provision of almshouses for poor men or women or married couples. homes for aged persons in need provision of homes for aged persons formerly employed at wingate colliery homes foe ex mineworkers in cockfield 1.1 to provide and maintain services and facilities for aged, infirm or disabled persons or those in financial need, with particular regard for the needs of the original beneficiaries.
