the objects of the cio are: 1. the relief of those in need by reason of disability in blackpool, fylde and wyre by:(a)the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of assistance and suitable facilities for participation in sport, and;(b)the provision of facilities for recreation or other lesiure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants. 2. to advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of england and wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time in particular, but not limited to supporting charity members for the public benefit, by making grants and awards to enable them to take part in amateur sports events.
