the objects of the cio, which are to be carried out in the north east of england, are:1) to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people who are socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of their autism and/or neuro diversity from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people and assisting them to integrate into society, in particular but not exclusively by:• providing a recreational facility for autistic and neuro diverse children and young people and their families/carers which creates a safe, friendly and accepting atmosphere in which all participants can feel comfortable, relaxed and included; • providing an opportunity for families/carers to share and learn new strategies for supporting the needs of their children and to reduce feelings of social isolation; • providing opportunities for the neuro typical family members and friends of autistic and neuro diverse children and young people to share experiences with them and thereby promote inclusion; • facilitating access, through signposting, to relevant information, advice and training for families/carers as appropriate.2) the relief of those in need by reason of ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
