for the public benefit to advance education in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by applying innovative design in working with primary education and educators to:• advance the teaching of climate science, climate literacy, and design innovation in state primary schools throughout the uk.• increase knowledge and confidence of teaching staff to support children’s learning about climate science and design innovation, through provision of age-appropriate teaching resources in schools where climate science is absent from the curriculum.• promote climate science and design technology in the primary curriculum as key life and employability skills for children.• combat anxiety and feelings of impotence about surviving future global conditions, which have been identified in a growing number of children, and to imbue them with a sense of empowerment to find solutions for living in the changing world of climate change. • create a model schools’ programme on design for climate change and a public exhibition template that can be replicated or adapted by others elsewhere in the world.
