the charity’s objects are to promote humane behaviour towards animals which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage by:-(a) supporting local organisations proving care, protection, medical treatment, security and overall humane treatment to animals by making annual charitable financial donations, and (b) supporting local pet owners who are in financial difficulty by providing financial assistance towards the care and treatment of their animals, in partnership with local veterinary service providers. nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable.
