the objects of the cio are for the public benefit: 1) to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the city of bath and the surrounding area the provision of a community radio service as a recreational facility for individuals who have need of such a facility by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants;2) to advance education in particular, but not limited to, through the provision of (a) radio broadcasts on such topics as the charity trustees deem fit and (b) vocational education and training in radio broadcasting and media skills, techniques and work;3) to protect and preserve health in particular through the provision of information to men and women on health and health related matters; and4) to advance any other charitable purposes (according to the law of england and wales) as the charity trustees see fit from time to time.
