the objects of the cio are:-the relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other social or economic disadvantage, in particular but not exclusively by:-- operating a community food bank; - providing furniture, household goods and clothing;- signposting to other agencies such as the cab;- delivering prescriptions (to people in isolation); - providing a personal shopping service (to people in isolation); - providing transport to attend hospital appointments; - providing a counselling and listening service; - providing a support network for our volunteers; and- by providing access to training for our volunteersnothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with [section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005] and [section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008].
